Appointment Setter / Telesales Executive – Part-Time

Online Bedrooms is a growing UK fitted-bedroom company based in Mansfield. We are looking for a confident and friendly Appointment Setter to contact customers who have already shown an interest in our products.
This is not random cold calling. Most of the people you speak to will have requested a brochure or submitted an enquiry. Your job is to have a helpful conversation, understand what they are looking for and book a suitable appointment with one of our Sales Designers.
This could suit someone with experience in appointment setting, telesales, customer service, call centres, recruitment, estate agency or another telephone-based role. We are also open to applicants with strong transferable skills, a natural telephone manner and the motivation to learn.
What you will be doing
- Contacting customers who have requested a brochure or made an online enquiry
- Building rapport and finding out more about their fitted-bedroom project
- Explaining the benefits of speaking with one of our Sales Designers
- Handling common questions and objections confidently
- Booking and confirming appointments
- Keeping customer information and appointment details accurate in our CRM
- Following up enquiries by telephone and email
- Working towards achievable appointment and conversion targets
- Supporting the wider team with straightforward administrative tasks
What we are looking for
You will need to be:
- Confident, friendly and professional on the telephone
- Comfortable making a high number of outbound calls
- Able to build rapport and keep conversations focused
- Positive and resilient when a customer says no
- Organised and accurate when updating customer records
- Comfortable using email, calendars, Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Motivated by clear goals, feedback and performance bonuses
- Reliable and able to work as part of an office-based team
Previous experience in telesales, appointment setting, lead generation or telephone customer service would be an advantage, but it is not essential if you can demonstrate the right communication skills, confidence and attitude.
Full product and systems training will be provided.
Hours and location
This is a permanent, part-time position working 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday from our Mansfield office.
We can offer some flexibility around daytime start and finish times, making the position suitable for people balancing work with school runs, caring responsibilities or other commitments.
There is no regular weekend working.
This is an office-based role and cannot be performed from home. Applicants must be able to travel reliably to Mansfield, NG18 5BR for every scheduled shift.

Bank holidays are treated as normal working days and may be booked as annual leave, subject to availability. Full details of the holiday entitlement will be provided with the employment terms.
