HVAC Engineer
Location: Bedfordshire
Salary: £47,000 per annum

We are recruiting for an experienced HVAC Engineer to join a growing building services and facilities maintenance provider, working across commercial sites in Bedfordshire and surrounding areas.
This role is mainly focused on ventilation works, with additional air conditioning maintenance, fault-finding and service duties as required. It would suit an engineer with a strong background in commercial HVAC, ventilation systems and general mechanical building services maintenance.
The Role
As an HVAC Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, servicing, repairs and fault-finding across a range of commercial environments.
You will work independently across client sites, ensuring systems are maintained to a high standard, faults are resolved efficiently and all work is completed safely and professionally.
Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on ventilation and HVAC systems
- Service, maintain and repair commercial ventilation systems
- Undertake fault-finding and diagnostics on site
- Support with air conditioning service and maintenance where required
- Inspect, test and maintain mechanical building services equipment
- Complete remedial works and minor repairs
- Identify additional works and report findings clearly
- Complete service reports, job sheets and site documentation
- Liaise professionally with clients, site contacts and internal teams
- Work in line with health and safety standards and company procedures
Requirements
- Experience working as an AC, HVAC or Ventilation Engineer
- F-Gas Category 1
- Strong knowledge of commercial ventilation systems
- Experience with planned and reactive maintenance
- Ability to fault-find and work independently
- Full UK driving licence
