Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista/Front of House (FOH) team member to join our vibrant café environment. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional customer service, prepare high-quality beverages, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and speciality drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately while providing excellent customer service.
- Handle cash transactions and operate the till efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front-of-house area, including tables, counters, and display cases.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
- Restock supplies and ingredients to ensure smooth service throughout shifts.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to minimise wait times and optimise customer satisfaction.
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently, maintaining a safe environment for both staff and customers.
Requirements
- Previous barista experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Knowledge of food safety standards is desirable.
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is advantageous.
- Basic maths skills are necessary for handling transactions accurately.
- Ability to prepare food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent time management to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods.
- Friendly, approachable manner with excellent communication skills.

Pay: £9.50-£13.50 per hour
