Duties
- Operate various machinery and equipment involved in food production processes, ensuring smooth and efficient operation.
- Follow detailed production schedules to meet quality and quantity targets.
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety protocols, including HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) standards, to ensure product integrity.
- Conduct regular quality checks and inspections throughout the production line.
- Assist with cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining equipment and work areas to uphold hygiene standards.
- Record production data accurately using basic math skills for inventory tracking and process documentation.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues with equipment, applying mechanical knowledge to resolve minor faults promptly.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of food safety regulations and HACCP principles.
- Prior experience in food production or manufacturing is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
- Mechanical knowledge or experience with machinery operation is preferred.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory and quality control purposes.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
