Own our socials.
You'll be responsible for Now Ayrshire Radio's social media across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X and beyond. If it's happening at the station, you'll be the one capturing it, creating it and getting it online.
No two days are the same.
One morning you could be filming a breakfast challenge. By lunchtime you're editing a Reel. In the afternoon you're out with presenters at a local event, then back in the studio creating graphics, writing captions and planning tomorrow's content.
You'll have the freedom to bring ideas to the table, take our great audio and video content on air, and help shape how our station looks and sounds online.
We're looking for someone who works quickly, thinks creatively and gets things done. Someone who'd rather create content than talk about creating content.
You'll be:
- Owning the day-to-day running of our social channels.
- Filming and editing short-form video.
- Audio production - such as out recording and producing our School of the Week feature
- Creating show graphics, Stories and Reels.
- Covering outside broadcasts, promotions and local events.
- Working alongside presenters to create personality-led content.
- Building campaigns that people actually want to engage with.
- Responding to messages and keeping our channels active every day.
You'll bring:
- Great content creation skills.
- Confidence using Canva, Adobe Express or similar editing tools.
- Strong writing skills and an eye for detail.
- A love of social media and what makes people stop scrolling.
- The ability to work at pace without sacrificing quality.
- Ideas. Lots of them.
Radio experience isn't essential.
