Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables with a friendly demeanor
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, including daily specials and upselling opportunities
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns promptly to ensure a positive experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including setting tables and clearing dishes
- Follow food safety protocols diligently to uphold hygiene standards in all food handling and serving activities
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are key
- Familiarity with serving techniques, food safety regulations, and basic food preparation is advantageous
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Excellent guest service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and courteously
- Basic math skills for processing bills accurately and handling cash or card transactions
- Kitchen or culinary experience is a plus, providing insight into food preparation processes
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism at all times
