In this dynamic role, you will craft exceptional beverages, work in the kitchen making sandwiches and other breakfast snacks, deliver outstanding customer service, and ensure every guest leaves with a smile. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of high-quality coffee beverages and specialty drinks with precision and enthusiasm.
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety standards to ensure a clean and safe environment for both staff and customers.
- Provide friendly, efficient service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and handling transactions smoothly using basic math skills.
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light meals to complement beverage offerings.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and minimize wait times.
- Keep the workspace clean, organized, and stocked by regularly replenishing supplies and cleaning equipment.
- Follow all health regulations and company policies to uphold high standards of hygiene and safety at all times.
Experience
- Proven experience as a barista in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper handling of beverages and food items.
- Experience serving customers directly, with a focus on creating positive interactions.
- Ability to perform food preparation tasks efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
- Strong basic math skills for cash handling, measuring ingredients, and managing orders accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours and ensure smooth operations.
- Previous experience working with POS systems or cash registers is preferred but not mandatory.
