SEN Teaching Assistant – Full Time Tonbridge, Kent | September Start
Teach South Kent are currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Tonbridge from September.

The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and the wider support team to provide tailored support to pupils with a range of additional needs.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting pupils both within the classroom and in smaller group settings
- Providing one-to-one support where required
- Helping pupils to engage with their learning and develop independence
- Supporting pupils with social, emotional and behavioural needs
- Following individual learning and support plans
- Building positive and trusting relationships with pupils
- Working closely with teachers and other professionals
- Helping to create a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment
- Supporting pupils' personal development and wellbeing
About You

Previous experience working within SEN, specialist education, care or support settings would be highly beneficial, although we would also be interested in hearing from candidates with transferable experience and the right attitude.
