Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and take drink orders with enthusiasm, ensuring accuracy and prompt service
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, following established recipes and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies
- Verify guest identification to ensure legal drinking age compliance in accordance with food safety regulations
- Manage cash register operations, process payments accurately, and handle tips responsibly
- Engage with guests to create a lively atmosphere while managing multiple orders efficiently through effective time management
- Follow all hospitality protocols and food safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for both guests and staff
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant or bar settings, demonstrating excellent serving skills
- Strong knowledge of hospitality principles and customer service excellence
- Familiarity with food safety standards to uphold hygiene and safety practices
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for handling transactions and measuring ingredients
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
- Effective communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members
- Knowledge of alcohol serving laws and responsible beverage service practices
