We are looking for a Community & Youth Outreach Coordinator who can take full ownership of our local youth programs and community engagement initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
- Program Ownership: Design, implement, and evolve engaging youth programs and community outreach events across Birmingham.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with local young people, families, schools, and local support services.
- Youth Mentorship: Guide, inspire, and empower young individuals, helping them build life skills, confidence, and leadership abilities.
- Impact Tracking: Validate program success with real feedback and community data to continuously improve our outreach strategies.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Represent Sabaoth Modena Community Trust at local council meetings, network events, and partner forums to advocate for youth needs.
What We Are Looking For:
- Experience: 3+ years in youth work, community development, or outreach, with demonstrated success in running engaging youth initiatives.
- Track Record: A strong background showing proven engagement, organized events, and positive outcomes for young people.
- Tooling & Skills: Strong workshop facilitation, event coordination, and project management skills.
- Language & Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English to engage comfortably with both local youth and institutional stakeholders.
- Mindset: Proactive, empathetic, and flexible. You know how to build trust quickly and turn ideas into actionable community projects.
Pay: £26,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
