Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders efficiently with a positive attitude
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards
- Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches, pastries, or snacks with precision and cleanliness
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all food handling processes
- Manage cash register operations accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change using basic math skills
- Keep the workspace clean, organized, and stocked by regularly checking supplies and cleaning equipment
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, offering recommendations, and ensuring customer satisfaction at all times
Requirements
- Prior coffee shop experience is required
- Experience in shift running, opening and closing and leading staff is essential
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices to ensure safe handling of food and beverages
- Ability to serve customers efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanor in a fast-paced environment
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
- Experience with food preparation or serving is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
