Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems and relay them efficiently to kitchen staff
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards and ensuring guest satisfaction
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service stations, and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen operations and ensure timely service
- Manage guest inquiries or concerns professionally, resolving issues quickly to ensure a positive experience
- Support team members during busy periods by sharing responsibilities and maintaining a lively, energetic atmosphere
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures
- Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing tabs
- Familiarity with serving techniques, upselling strategies, and guest service best practices
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Kitchen or culinary experience is a plus, providing insight into food preparation processes
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts
