About Us
We are a London-based vintage clothing business specialising in curated, high-quality vintage and Y2K fashion. We sell primarily through live auctions and shows on Whatnot, building an engaged online community of fashion lovers.
Role Overview
We are looking for a confident, energetic, and fashion-forward Sales Assistant to host and assist with live vintage clothing sales on Whatnot. The ideal candidate is comfortable on camera, knowledgeable about vintage fashion, and passionate about delivering an engaging customer experience.
Key Responsibilities Live Selling & Hosting
Present and sell vintage clothing during live auctions on Whatnot
Model or style pieces on camera
Engage with viewers in real time and build rapport
Drive excitement and encourage bidding
Product Knowledge & Styling
Describe items accurately (era, brand, condition, sizing, fabric)
Provide styling suggestions and outfit ideas
Answer customer questions confidently during live sessions
Operations Support
Assist with steaming, tagging, and organising stock
Help prepare items before live shows
Support with packing orders (if required)
Maintain tidy and organised workspace
Social & Brand Representation
Represent the brand’s tone and aesthetic
Help create short-form content for social media (optional)
Build loyal returning customers
Requirements
Confident and comfortable on camera
Strong communication skills
Interest in vintage, Y2K, and sustainable fashion
Friendly, energetic, and sales-driven personality
Reliable and punctual
London-based (required)
Desirable:
Previous retail or live-selling experience
Experience using Whatnot or other live-selling platforms
Knowledge of vintage brands and fashion eras
