Junior Bartender
The Waterside Inn is a world-renowned Michelin star family-run restaurant with rooms, with a team led by Chef Patron, Alain Roux, Perhaps the most influential, dynamic, and charismatic family in the catering industry. Across five decades of hard work, culinary expertise combined with a passion for championing young chefs and waiters, the influence of the Roux family can be felt across the globe.
We are looking for full -time bartender with wine knowledge, to join our dynamic team.
Duties: The Barman/woman should have an extensive knowledge of cocktails, wine and spirits. As a Bartender your role is to assist in service, to achieve the objectives in sales, cost control, ordering, be a team player and efficient and well organized. Primarily they need to ensure an enjoyable guest experience through delivering excellent drinks whilst maintaining a high level of customer service throughout.
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per year, plus tronc and with an extra targeted bonus related to client wine sales.
Job Type: Full-time and permanent
Working Week: Wednesday to Sunday lunch time - 48hrs a week
Characteristics: to be a team player, a great communicator, attention to detail, and have great customer service skills.
Experience: 2-3 year’s minimum experience required (Michelin star level only) English language essential, and EU Settlement Status required if applicable.
Growth: The successful applicant will receive with a good competitive salary (based on experience). Depending, on your work performance, there is a possibility of promotion and growth.
Rest Days: all day Monday, Tuesday, and Sunday evenings (Sundays off is applicable from October to April then from May till September Sundays become a full working day).
Staff Set Annual Holidays: Summer 2- week holidays from the 11 August 2026 to 24th August 2026 December & January Annual holidays from the 22nd of December 2026 until the Reopening on January 19th January 2026.
Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
