About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, organised, and hands-on Restaurant & Wedding Close Manager to oversee evening restaurant service and ensure the smooth running and closing of both restaurant operations and wedding/events.
This is a key leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment, has excellent customer service skills, and can confidently lead a team while maintaining high standards throughout service and at close.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise evening restaurant service.
- Lead, motivate, and support front-of-house staff.
- Ensure exceptional customer service is delivered at all times.
- Oversee weddings and private events, ensuring timelines are followed and guests receive outstanding service.
- Liaise with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service.
- Resolve customer queries and complaints professionally.
- Complete end-of-night cashing up and daily financial procedures.
- Carry out venue closing procedures, including security checks and locking up.
- Ensure all cleaning, hygiene, and health & safety standards are maintained.
- Complete opening or closing checklists and handover reports where required.
- Assist with staff training and maintaining company standards.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous management or supervisory experience in hospitality.
- Experience working in restaurants, weddings, or event venues.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
- Calm under pressure with strong problem-solving skills.
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
