Overview
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Shuttering Carpenter to join our team in Woolwich. The role involves constructing and installing formwork for concrete structures on a range of residential and commercial projects, ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
Responsibilities
- Construct, install, and dismantle timber and proprietary formwork.
- Read and work from technical drawings and site specifications.
- Set out and assemble shutters for foundations, columns, walls, and slabs.
- Ensure all formwork is accurate, secure, and ready for concrete pours.
- Work closely with steel fixers, groundworkers, and site management.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Shuttering Carpenter.
- Ability to read technical drawings.
- Good knowledge of formwork systems and construction methods.
- CSCS Card required (Blue or Gold preferred).
