Creative Kidz Childcare Ltd is looking for friendly, enthusiastic and reliable Casual Bank Activity Leaders / Playworkers to join our wraparound childcare team.
As a member of our bank team, you'll help provide cover across our Breakfast and After School Clubs when additional team members are needed.
This could be ideal if you're looking for flexible work alongside studies, family commitments, another job or existing school-based employment.
We are a family-run childcare provider with over 20 years' experience delivering high-quality childcare in schools, caring for children aged 4–11 years.
No childcare qualification or previous childcare experience is essential — we'll provide the training you need.
Flexible Bank Hours
Our clubs operate Monday to Friday during school term time.
Typical shifts include:
- Breakfast Club: approximately 7:20am – 9:20am
- After School Club: approximately 3:00pm – 6:00pm
- Opportunities to work additional shifts may also become available
- Permanent role could also be an option
As a Casual Bank Activity Leader, there are no guaranteed weekly hours. Shifts are offered according to the needs of our clubs, for example to provide cover for staff absence, annual leave, training or additional staffing requirements.
You can let us know your availability and accept suitable shifts when they are offered.
This makes our bank team a great option for people who need greater flexibility than a regular contracted role.
Please note: As you may be offered work at different club locations, being a driver with access to transport is highly desirable.

What You'll Be Doing
You'll work alongside our established childcare teams to help make sure children are safe, happy, engaged and having fun.
Your role may include:
- Leading and supporting arts & crafts, sports, games, creative activities and play
- Engaging with children and encouraging them to participate
- Creating a fun, caring, safe and inclusive environment
- Supporting children's confidence, friendships and independence
- Encouraging teamwork, communication and positive behaviour
- Providing attentive supervision and supporting children's safety and wellbeing
- Helping with breakfast and snack times
- Supporting children's routines
- Helping prepare and tidy activities and resources
- Following safeguarding, health & safety and operational procedures
- Working positively alongside permanent club team members
- Building positive relationships with children, colleagues and families
- Sharing relevant information with the Club Manager or senior team when appropriate
