We have an opportunity for a Service Advisor to join our team at Volkswagen Van Centre in Portsmouth.
As a Service Advisor, you will be the key link between our customers and the workshop team, delivering a professional and seamless aftersales experience. You will be responsible for keeping customers informed throughout the service and repair process, providing expert advice, and ensuring every customer receives a premium level of service.
Your responsibilities will include:
Act as the main point of contact for customers throughout their service and repair journey.
Communicate and provide regular updates on the progress of customer vehicles while in the workshop.
Explain vehicle faults and repair recommendations confidently and professionally.
Identify opportunities to upsell essential and urgent repairs that benefit the customer.
Deliver a premium customer experience that reflects the quality of our brand and vehicles.
Handle customer queries, concerns, and complaints effectively, working towards positive resolutions.
Maintain accurate customer and vehicle records in line with company procedures.
What you will need to be a Service Advisor at our Volkswagen Van Centre:
Experience within a service department, main dealer experience would be an advantage
Possess good technical knowledge with the ability to answer customer queries
Ability to multitask and use your own initiative when faced with challenges
Excellent communication and computer skills
Impressive organisational skills
Ability to thrive within a team
Extensive knowledge of CDK desirable, although training will be given
Professional and courteous manner
Full UK driving licence
45 hours a week, Monday to Friday - 7.00 am to 17.00 pm
A uniform will be provided
