ROLE: Fleet and Cost Accountant
HOURS: 40 hours a week
LOCATION: Gloucester
At Mitie, our people are our greatest strength, and our promise is to create a place to work where you can thrive and be your best every day. We're looking for an Accountant to join the fast‑moving R2R team. The role is part of the Record to Report (R2R) team within Finance Shared Service (FSS).
Role Responsibilities:-
Set up, implement and run new processes for posting and accounting for finance leases that are transacted through employee payroll.

Implement robust controls into the process.

Reconcile GL accounts at vehicle and employee level.

Post any adjustments and reallocations required.

Generate and post recharges.

Manage, investigate and resolve any open items.

Ensure that cost allocations are posted and reported correctly at a divisional and Group level.

Work closely with payroll, fleet and Group Finance teams to ensure reporting and contractual requirements are met.
Required Qualifications:-
Accounting experience and qualifications essential.

SAP ERP experience essential.

High proficiency in Excel, confident with large data sets.
