About the Role
Are you energetic, confident and passionate about delivering incredible experiences? As a Clip ‘n Climb Instructor, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring every guest has a safe, enjoyable and memorable visit.
You’ll be responsible for supervising the climbing arena, delivering engaging safety briefings, fitting and checking harnesses, assisting climbers and responding confidently to any situations that arise. You’ll also help maintain the highest standards of customer service, cleanliness and safety throughout the centre.
This is an active role where you’ll spend much of your shift on your feet, interacting with guests of all ages and helping to create an exciting atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and informative climbing safety briefings.
- Correctly fit, check and remove climbing harnesses.
- Supervise the climbing arena, ensuring all guests climb safely and follow centre rules.
- Carry out climbing rescues in line with company procedures (full training provided).
- Deliver outstanding customer service and create memorable guest experiences.
- Encourage and support climbers of all ages and abilities.
- Assist with arena opening, closing and routine operational checks.
- Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the centre.
- Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
- Follow all health and safety, safeguarding and operational procedures.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across all departments and support other areas of the business where required.

Appointment to this role is subject to a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. This will be paid for and arranged by Clip ’n Climb Crawley Limited as part of the pre-employment screening process.
