COPA Resourcing Group is recruiting on behalf of a client for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven QS professional to take ownership of a varied and active project portfolio, working across the full spectrum of construction from civil groundworks through to finishing trades.
Work is available immediately and the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the delivery of projects across commercial and residential sectors throughout Scotland.
Key responsibilities
Pricing and estimating construction projects from civil works through to finishing trades
Preparing and managing tender submissions, cost plans, and contract documentation
Carrying out valuations, variations, and interim payment applications
Liaising with site teams, clients, and subcontractors on commercial matters
Monitoring project costs and reporting against budget throughout the build programme
Supporting final account preparation and close-out
What we're looking for
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a construction environment
Strong working knowledge across both civil and building works
Experience with NEC, JCT, or similar standard form contracts
Excellent communication and client-facing skills
MRICS qualified or working towards chartership (desirable but not essential)
Full UK driving licence
