Mortgage Administrator / Trainee Mortgage Adviser – North London
Salary: £25000 - 30000 per annum + excellent career progression

We are an established Mortgage & Protection business based in North London, with over 20 years’ experience, a strong existing client bank and a loyal client base built through years of excellent service.
We are looking for an experienced Mortgage Administrator to join our growing team.
However, this is more than simply an administration role.

The Role
You will work closely with our Mortgage Advisers and clients, supporting the end-to-end mortgage process and ensuring cases are progressed efficiently and professionally.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing mortgage applications from submission through to completion
- Liaising with clients, lenders, solicitors, estate agents and other professionals
- Gathering and checking client documentation
- Monitoring mortgage offers, valuations and outstanding requirements
- Maintaining accurate records and updating our CRM systems
- Chasing cases and resolving issues to keep applications moving
- Communicating with clients by telephone, email and other channels
- Supporting Mortgage Advisers with case preparation and administration
- Identifying problems and finding practical solutions
- Ensuring a high level of customer service at every stage

Experience
Previous mortgage administration or financial services experience is highly desirable.
However, we are also interested in hearing from high-calibre A-level students, school leavers or university graduates who can demonstrate excellent communication skills, strong numeracy, organisation and a genuine desire to build a career in financial services.
You don’t necessarily need years of experience if you have the right attitude, intelligence and work ethic.
