Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various premises, ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for clients and staff alike. Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitising surfaces across designated areas.
- Ensure all communal and private spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, paper products, and cleaning materials as needed.
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain organised storage of cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Adhere to company policies regarding confidentiality and security of premises.
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and procedures is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail.
- Good organisational skills and reliability are essential qualities for success in this role.
