About the Role
As a Warehouse Administrator QC, you'll play a vital role in ensuring garments meet agreed quality standards before entering the supply chain. Working closely with customers and operational teams, you'll be responsible for carrying out quality inspections, identifying issues, producing detailed reports, and supporting the successful processing of stock.
This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You'll be a key point of contact for quality-related matters and help maintain the high standards our customers expect.
What You'll Do
- Inspect garments against specifications and approved seal standards, including measurements, seam quality, workmanship, and overall garment appearance
- Conduct AQL inspections and quality checks in line with customer requirements and company procedures
- Identify quality concerns, measurement discrepancies, and compliance issues, escalating where appropriate
- Produce detailed QC audit reports supported by photographic evidence for each stock receipt
- Communicate directly with customers via email and telephone regarding garment quality and inspection outcomes
- Work closely with operational teams to plan and manage inspection volumes and priorities
- Maintain accurate quality records and documentation
- Support continuous improvement by identifying recurring quality issues and recommending solutions
- Ensure all inspections are completed accurately and within agreed service levels
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience working with garment quality control and 2.5 AQL inspection processes
- Knowledge of garment construction, fabric types, and manufacturing standards
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confident communicating with customers and internal stakeholders
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage workloads effectively
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making
- Self-motivated, customer-focused, and results-driven
- Flexible approach to work and changing business requirements

Shift pattern:
- 40hrs per week on any 5 over 7 days between 06:00-22:00hrs

Pay: £14.10 per hour
