Job Purpose:
To ensure the efficient handling, storage, and dispatch of goods within the warehouse and provide timely, safe delivery of products to customers. This role combines warehouse duties with driving responsibilities to support smooth operations and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Duties:
- Receive, check, and store incoming goods accurately.
- Pick, and prepare orders for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
- Operate warehouse equipment in a safe and controlled manner.
- Conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies.
Delivery Duties:
- Load and secure goods for delivery.
- Deliver products to customers in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure all delivery paperwork is completed accurately.
- Perform daily vehicle checks and report any issues.
- Comply with all road safety and company driving policies.
Based at our Blackpole warehouse, working Monday to Friday weekly and alternating Saturday shifts, you will be involved with the picking, loading and delivery of tyres and other automotive parts.
A clean UK driving licence is essential and ideally you will have some tyre industry experience.
