We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of anatomy and the ability to tailor treatments to meet the individual needs of clients. Duties
- Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their health history and specific needs.
- Perform a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage, ensuring each session is customised to the client's requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organised treatment area, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
- Keep accurate records of client treatments and progress, ensuring confidentiality at all times.
- Stay updated on industry trends and techniques through continuous professional development.
- Provide clients with advice on post-treatment care and lifestyle changes that may enhance their well-being.
Requirements
- Valid massage therapy certification from an accredited institution.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- A caring and empathetic approach to client care.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential; new graduates are welcome to apply.
