Experienced Private Housekeeper
Tarporley, Cheshire | 6-8 hours per week | £18+ per hour for the right candidate (Self-Employed)
A private family in Tarporley is seeking an experienced Housekeeper to help maintain and run a busy family home to a high standard.
This is a hands-on role combining cleaning, laundry, ironing and general household organisation. The successful candidate will take pride in maintaining an exceptionally clean, well-presented and efficiently run home.
Duties will include:
- Cleaning and maintaining the home to a high standard
- Laundry and ironing, including bedding and household linens
- Bed making and changing
- Changing bathroom linens and towels
- Keeping the home tidy, organised and well presented
- Restocking household supplies
- Identifying tasks that need attention and managing them proactively
The ideal candidate will be reliable, trustworthy and discreet, with excellent attention to detail and previous experience working within a private household. The family frequently work from home, therefore the successful candidate must be self-motivated, able to work independently and comfortable carrying out their duties in a professional and unobtrusive manner.
Hours: Approximately 6-8 hours per week, ideally Monday, and Friday, although some flexibility is required with occasional pet sitting on the weekend, with time off in lieu.
Rate: £18 per hour depending on experience (self-employed).
References will be required, and applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
