Role Summary
As a Business Analyst, you will be part of the Business Solutions team alongside Project Managers, Developers, and Data Specialists. Together, the team delivers the platform that underpins legal and operational services by combining people, process, and technology to support large-scale claims management.
Squads consist of Project Managers, Business Analysts, Software Developers, and legal/operational subject matter experts (SMEs). Squads work together collaboratively to:
- Onboard new claims and support ongoing claim delivery.
- Design, develop, and implement new processes.
- Design, develop, test, and support the implementation and adoption of new platform capability.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
You will be responsible for ensuring legal and operational teams have the platform capability required to manage claims and support clients.
- Play a pivotal role in the delivery squad to define, build, and launch new platform capability.
- Define requirements through short, collaborative squad workshops, agreeing on the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) to deliver value quickly and iterate over time.
- Create user stories for short development sprints, develop test plans, carry out QA testing, support business UAT, and deliver user training.
- Create content such as feature explanation decks (using clear, non-technical language) and system user guides.
- Manage project risks, dependencies, and opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Squad Lead (PM) and business stakeholders to agree on platform development priorities.
- Clearly communicate squad delivery progress to project management.
- Drive continuous improvement through lessons learned, adoption feedback, and best practice.
- Act as a champion for change across the business.

Skills & Experience
- Proven working experience as a Business Analyst within small, collaborative, cross-functional teams.
- Strong experience building and maintaining collaborative relationships with internal SMEs, senior stakeholders, and third-party service providers.
- Deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and the roles of functional teams within project delivery.
- Strong proficiency in standard productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Office suite) and project management/collaboration tools (e.g., Confluence, Monday.com, Jira, or similar).
- Knowledge of major CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, AI agents) is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear deliverables.
- Strong team player with the ability to influence and enable multiple teams.
- Highly self-motivated, able to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams in an agile framework while prioritizing business value.
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills, focused on reducing manual effort through automation.
- Business Analysis or Process Improvement certifications (e.g., BCS, Lean Six Sigma) are preferred but not essential.
- Willingness to travel to company office locations as needed.
