Shift Manager
We are a family run activity company who operate and run family activity centres and are looking to appoint a shift manager.
This individual will play a key management role and will be part of the leadership team with responsibility for overseeing operations when on shift. You will be supported in your role but will be expected to act on initiative and reflectiveness to help enhance what we offer customers.
Being efficient at multi-tasking and effective at communication is an essential part of the role to help customers for at ease and relaxed whilst also being able to embed are house rules and expectations ensuring everyone has a positive experience.
With a proud safety record delivering a maintained environment is important to us in keeping customer safe and successful person will help to continue developing our exacting standards.
Overview of Duties
- Person-In-Charge operationally when on shift.
- Carrying out safety checks and maintaining records.
- Monitoring and updating our well-managed system.
- Delivering our cafe and retail offering and stocking-up.
- Administering first aid and providing pastoral care.
- Acting as a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead.
- Light cleaning duties.
- Customer enquires.
- Experience
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within the leisure or hospitality sector is desirable.
- Maintaining environment to exacting standards.
- Leadership capabilities with a proven track record of managing teams effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations.
- A passion in providing Amazing customer experiences is essential.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £12.71-£14.71 per hour
