Job Summary
We are seeking an additional team member for our busy workshop. You would be a key member of the team, responsible for carrying out servicing, repairs and diagnostics on domestic and commercial grounds maintenance equipment from brands such as Honda, Stihl and Stiga.
You must be able to demonstrate a good mechanical knowledge and have experience of repairing & servicing groundscare equipment, ranging from two-stroke machines such as strimmers and chainsaws up large commercial mowing products.
You should be able to communicate at all levels and work as part of a team whilst utilising your own initiative. The right candidate will take responsibility for their own work and deliver a high level of service.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of equipment.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs and assembly tasks.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer queries and concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.
Experience
- Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair.
- Strong customer service skills to interact effectively with customers.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Physical capability to perform lifting as needed during work tasks.
- A proactive attitude towards maintaining workshop standards and safety protocols.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £26,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
