Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy operations, ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care. This position requires a strong commitment to patient service and an understanding of medication administration processes.
Previous experience preferred as a Pharmacy Counter Assistant or Dispenser.
Duties
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately.
- Provide excellent patient care by answering queries and offering guidance on medication usage.
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and patient information.
- Ensure the pharmacy is well-stocked, organised, and compliant with health regulations.
- Assist in the administration of medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Handle inventory management, including ordering and receiving stock as needed.
- Support the pharmacy team in maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Contracted hours:
- Monday to Friday 18:00-21:00
- Saturday 16:00-21:00
- Overtime available during the week and Sundays
