About the Role
Be active, have fun, and make a real difference as a Play Worker in our brilliant Out of School Clubs!
You will be supporting children aged 5–11 years before and after school, creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment where children can fuel up with breakfast, unwind after the classroom, and enjoy creative play.
We offer opportunities for extra hours during school holidays and the chance to work across multiple schools in Leeds, allowing you to choose a location that suits you.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage children in fun, creative play activities
- Ensure a safe, nurturing environment at all times
- Support children’s social, emotional, and personal development
- Assist in planning and delivering age-appropriate educational activities
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about children’s progress
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the play area
- Work collaboratively with the Out of School Club team to support children’s learning and wellbeing
Who We’re Looking For
- Some experience working with children (nursery, school, or childcare setting)
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and passionate about child development and play
- Friendly and team-focused, with excellent communication skills
- Reliable, adaptable, and committed to safeguarding children
