Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled 360 excavator operator to join our team in Epsom, KT17. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a 360-degree excavator to assist with various construction and excavation projects. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, experience with excavators, and the ability to work efficiently on site. Responsibilities
- Operate 360-degree excavators safely and efficiently across multiple sites in Epsom.
- Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance of the excavator to ensure optimal functioning.
- Assist with site preparation, digging, lifting, and moving materials as required.
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times, recognising potential hazards and taking appropriate action.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects within specified timeframes.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and report any issues or malfunctions promptly.
Experience
- Proven experience operating 360 excavators in a commercial or construction setting.
- Mechanical knowledge related to excavator systems and general machinery maintenance.
- Valid certification for operating heavy plant machinery, including relevant licences for 360 excavator operation.
- Experience with commercial driving is desirable but not essential; however, a clean driving licence is preferred.
- Familiarity with site safety procedures and risk assessments.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and adapt to changing project requirements.
Pay: Up to £21.00 per hour
