Job Summary
Embark on an exciting journey as a Machining Technician Apprentice, where you will develop essential skills in precision manufacturing and mechanical processes. Responsibilities
- Assist with setting up and operating machining equipment such as mills, grinders, and lathes under supervision
- Learn to interpret technical drawings to support machining tasks
- Perform basic measurements and calculations using hand tools and precision instruments to ensure parts meet specifications
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, tools, and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency
- Participate in tooling adjustments as guided by experienced technicians
- Follow safety protocols diligently while handling power tools, hand tools, and machinery
Skills
- Basic knowledge of machining processes such as turning, milling and grinding
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and tooling setups
- Understanding of mechanical principles and basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for maintaining equipment and workspace
