Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Nurse Level 3 to join our childcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children within a nursery setting, ensuring their safety, development, and well-being. Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children's developmental needs
- Supervise children during play, meal times, and rest periods, ensuring their safety at all times
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment that promotes learning through play
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, behaviour, and daily routines
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum plans and organise activities
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding children's progress and any concerns
- Lead by example in maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and organisation within the nursery
- Support management in implementing policies and procedures related to childcare standards
- Assist in the training and mentoring of junior staff or interns as required
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations
Requirements
- recognised Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Childhood Education
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting
- Strong management skills with the ability to lead a team effectively
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education practices
- Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Valid driving licence is desirable for travelling between nursery locations or community visits
- Commitment to safeguarding children’s welfare at all times
- Organised, reliable, and able to work flexibly within a busy environment

Pay: £30,000.00-£37,910.77 per year
