Aiyara Partners are delighted to be partnering with a market-leading luxury care and healthcare provider to appoint an experienced Medical Business Development Manager.
This is a senior, highly commercial opportunity for an established healthcare sales professional to take ownership of medical referral relationships across Central London, whilst playing a pivotal role in the growth of an innovative new Health, Wellness and Rehabilitation proposition.
Reporting directly to the Director of Sales, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with consultants, clinicians, hospitals and other key medical referrers to generate new business opportunities, increase referrals and drive revenue growth.
The Opportunity
Working closely with Sales, Operations, Care and Marketing teams, you will develop and execute a targeted business development strategy across the London healthcare market.
The role will focus on strengthening existing referral relationships, identifying and developing new commercial opportunities, and positioning the organisation as a leading provider of premium senior care, rehabilitation and recovery services.
You will also play an integral role in launching and growing an exciting new Health, Wellness and Rehabilitation proposition.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a targeted business development strategy to increase medical referrals and drive revenue growth
- Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, clinicians, hospitals, case managers and other key healthcare stakeholders
- Develop new referral pathways whilst maximising existing relationships across the Central London healthcare market
- Promote the organisation's premium senior care, recovery and rehabilitation services to medical professionals and key decision-makers
- Take ownership of the referral pipeline, ensuring opportunities are effectively managed and converted into new business
- Work collaboratively across Sales, Operations and Care teams to deliver an exceptional experience throughout the referral and admission process
- Organise and attend networking events, conferences and industry forums to increase brand awareness and develop new commercial relationships
- Utilise CRM systems to effectively track business development activity, referral sources and commercial outcomes
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and referral patterns to identify new growth opportunities
- Consistently deliver against ambitious revenue, occupancy and business development targets
About You
- Proven experience within healthcare, medical, rehabilitation or clinical sales
- An established network and strong understanding of the Central London healthcare market
- Demonstrable experience developing relationships with consultants, clinicians, hospitals and professional referrers
- A strong commercial mindset with a proven track record of generating new business and revenue growth
- Experienced in developing referral pipelines and converting opportunities into tangible commercial outcomes
- Confident, credible and comfortable engaging with senior medical professionals and key decision-makers
- Highly driven by targets, KPIs and commercial success
- An exceptional relationship builder with strong communication, influencing and presentation skills
- Proactive, entrepreneurial and comfortable taking ownership of a developing market proposition
