1953 Bar & Restaurant in Galashiels is looking for reliable, hardworking and friendly Front of House staff to join our team.
We are looking for both full-time and part-time waiters/waitresses to help provide a great experience for our customers.
About the Role
As part of our Front of House team, your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming and speaking with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Taking customer orders
- Serving food and drinks
- Food running from the kitchen to customers
- Clearing and cleaning tables
- Keeping the restaurant and front of house areas clean and tidy
- Stocking and restocking items when required
- Helping the team with the day-to-day running of the restaurant
- Providing excellent customer service
- Working as part of a team during busy periods
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who is:
- Reliable and punctual
- Hardworking and willing to learn
- Friendly and confident when speaking with customers
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Organised and able to work in a busy environment
- Someone who takes pride in their work and customer service
Previous restaurant or waiting experience is preferred but is not essential. Training can be provided for the right person.
Working Days & Hours
1953 Bar & Restaurant is closed on Mondays.
The successful applicant will have Monday as their regular day off, plus one additional day off, with working days and hours to be discussed depending on the position and availability.
We have opportunities for both full-time and part-time staff.
Pay
Hourly pay will be discussed at interview and will depend on experience and the hours/role agreed.
