Overview
We are seeking a professional and dependable Bus Driver to operate passenger vehicles safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of vehicle maintenance, and experience in commercial driving. This role involves transporting passengers along designated routes, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the journey. A valid PSV licence DQC card and relevant experience are essential for this position. The successful applicant will play a vital role in providing reliable transportation services within our organisation.
Duties
- Safely operate buses along assigned routes, adhering to scheduled timings and traffic regulations
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and report any mechanical issues promptly
- Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, providing excellent customer service at all times
- Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and any incidents during shifts
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as checking oil levels, and fluid levels
- Communicate effectively with passengers and team members using clear English language skills
- Ensure the bus is clean, organised, and presentable for each journey
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws to prevent accidents or violations
Experience
- Proven experience as a passenger vehicle driver, preferably with 1 years experience.
- Excellent communication skills in English, capable of engaging with diverse passengers and team members.
- Experience in operating various types of vehicles.
