Role overview:
Dreweatts auction house, a leading name in the fine art auction industry, is seeking a talented and passionate individual to join its Marketing Department. This role would suit both an entry level candidate or those with relevant experience; it offers a varied and creative opportunity to work within a busy team for an exciting and growing auction house.
Key responsibilities:
· Creating digital content to promote auctions, valuations and the Dreweatts brand
· Planning and execution of social media (posts, reels, stories)
· Preparing email marketing campaigns
· Preparing catalogue mailing lists for printed catalogues
· Writing articles for Dreweatts website and e-newsletter
· Updating Dreweatts website (auctions, images and articles)
· Updating reports and databases (Business Central)
· Researching digital marketing analytics to provide reports on performance of social media, email campaigns and website content.
· Assisting with bidder registration and online bidding on auction days
· Assisting with organisation of company events (on or off-site)
Skills required:
· Graduate with a proven interest in Art History, Fine Arts, or related field
· A creative individual with ability to write content (social media content and longer form / articles)
· Digital marketing experience (social media and e-marketing) in a commercial arena
· Experience of social media and email marketing scheduling software
· Knowledge of Photoshop
· Numerate and IT literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel)
· Highly organised multi-tasker with excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
· Good communication skills with clients and calm under pressure
· Good interpersonal skills, flexible and ability to work within a team as well as on their own
· Proactive approach and able to problem solve and show initiative
· Knowledge and experience of the art market is a plus
