Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within our establishment, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. Previous experience in hotel, hospitality, or janitorial services is highly desirable. Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, public areas, and facilities according to organisational standards.
- Change bed linens, towels, and replenish amenities as required.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces to maintain cleanliness.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties.
- Follow health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in an organised manner.
- Assist with laundry duties when necessary.
- Ensure all work areas are kept tidy and organised throughout shifts.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, hospitality, or janitorial services is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently and independently.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- A positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends if required.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices is advantageous.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting or moving equipment or supplies.
