Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part-time Cleaner to join our dynamic team. Working 17.5 hours per week , Monday to Friday ( possible job share)In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our school facilities. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, restrooms, kitchens, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
- Ensure all surfaces are sanitized and maintained to high standards of hygiene
- Restock cleaning supplies, toiletries, and other essentials as needed
- Dispose of waste responsibly and maintain cleanliness in trash disposal areas
- Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment during cleaning tasks
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management
- Assist with light cooking or food preparation tasks when required, ensuring health and safety standards are met
Skills
- Prior janitorial or commercial cleaning experience is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality
- Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with staff and visitors
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing time efficiently
- Experience in hotel or hospitality environments is a plus
- Knowledge of basic cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures
- Flexibility to adapt to different cleaning routines and schedules
