Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced part-time Assistant Chef/Cook to join our friendly and well established team.
Variable hours to include weekends and to cover events and functions.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing ingredients and cooking high quality food according to established recipes and standards with the opportunity to assist in tailoring menus for specific events
- Upholding the highest standards of Food Handling and Hygiene maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment
- Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and stock ordering.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar kitchen or catering role is essential with an emphasis on working unsupervised in the absence of the Head Chef.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Good time management skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Show genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.71-£14.80 per hour
