Hours: Part-time, 20 hours per week
Start date: ASAP
Contract end date: 18 December 2026
Pay: £14.50 per hour (depending on experience)Little Crafters Boxes Limited creates eco-concious , craft subscription boxes and hands-on learning resources designed to be inclusive, trauma-informed and genuinely joyful. We’re a small, values-led team with a strong community, and we’re recruiting for a fixed-term temporary role to run a focused 3-month project.
Your mission is to build and implement an organic sales strategy that increases our B2C craft subscription box subscriptions, using targeted social content to deliver that strategy across Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. This role is temporary and will end on 18 December 2026. We may have other vacancies next year, but this role is being recruited and offered as a standalone fixed-term contract.
What you’ll be doing
Over the three-month period, you will:
- Get a strong understanding of our audience, tone of voice and what drives buying decisions for subscription boxes
- Review our current social channels (Facebook, Instagram and TikTok) and identify clear opportunities for growth
- Create a practical organic sales strategy to increase subscriptions, including:
- Messaging angles that fit our brand (warm, inclusive, community-first, never pushy)
- A campaign plan with launch-style structure (teasers, reveals, social proof, follow-ups)
- Clear calls-to-action and simple funnel steps (links, landing pages, email sign-ups, DMs)
- Create and publish the targeted campaign content needed to implement your strategy, especially short-form video
- Run a secondary seasonal campaign for Advent Calendars / Christmas products
- Track performance and report weekly: what you posted, what happened, what you learned, and what you’ll do next
What success looks like
We care about how you work (research, planning, execution and iteration), and we also expect to see measurable signs of growth over the contract period. This could include a combination of:
- Increased subscription enquiries and conversions
- Improved reach and engagement on campaign content
- Stronger click-throughs to subscription pages / waitlists
- Evidence that your campaign structure and launch moments are moving the needle
What we’re looking forYou’re likely a great fit if you:
- Have experience in sales and marketing and can build an organic sales strategy and implement it
- Understand values-led selling and community-first marketing (ethical, warm, not pushy)
- Have strong audience instincts and can write content that feels human and on-brand
- Can create campaign content quickly (especially video) and improve based on results
- Are organised and comfortable reporting progress clearly
- Communicate well, take feedback well, and work well with a small team
- Are happy working on-site so you can capture behind-the-scenes content and get to know the products, team and audience properly
Nice to have (not essential)
- Experience with subscription products, e-commerce or community-led brands
- Confident editing short-form video (CapCut, VN, etc.)
- Canva skills
- Familiarity with home education, SEND, or inclusive/trauma-informed approaches
Interview task (important)As part of the interview process, we’ll ask you to do a short talk (or walk-through) covering:
- Your 3-month organic sales strategy to increase subscriptions
- The campaign content you would create to deliver that strategy (what, why and when)
- What you would aim to achieve and how you’d measure success (including what “good growth” looks like)
