An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced operational leader looking for their next challenge. As Regional Operations Director, you will oversee a portfolio of care homes across Norfolk, Suffolk, and Essex, taking responsibility for operational performance, quality, and growth.
Reporting directly to the Co-Chief Operating Officer, you will provide both strategic direction and hands-on leadership, driving exceptional care standards, strong commercial performance, and continuous improvement throughout the region.
About You:
- Provide strategic and operational leadership across a portfolio of care homes within the region, ensuring exceptional standards of care and service delivery.
- Lead, coach and develop Operations Managers and Home Managers, driving high performance and a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ensure homes consistently achieve and maintain CQC ratings of Good or Outstanding, leading on quality, compliance and regulatory performance.
- Take ownership of regional occupancy, revenue and profitability targets, working closely with commercial teams to maximise performance.
- Build strong relationships with commissioners, stakeholders and regulatory bodies to support sustainable growth and service excellence.
- Drive recruitment, retention and succession planning initiatives, fostering an engaged and high-performing workforce.
- Lead operational responses to quality, compliance or performance challenges, implementing effective improvement plans and delivering positive outcomes.
- Champion organisational values, promoting a positive culture focused on resident wellbeing, colleague engagement and outstanding care.
