Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool practitioner to join our nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a safe, engaging, and stimulating learning atmosphere that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of preschool-aged children.
Duties
- Manage classroom activities to ensure a positive and inclusive environment.
- Guide children through daily routines, encouraging their independence and social skills.
- Communicate effectively with parents and managers regarding children's progress and any concerns.
- Observe and assess children's development, to meet individual needs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised classroom space.
- Collaborate with colleagues and work well in a team.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Experience
- NVQ Level 2/3 in childcare.
- A background in working with young children.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
