Herts & Essex Supplies is a growing aesthetics wholesaler supplying leading dermal fillers, skin boosters, fat-dissolving products and other professional aesthetic supplies to clinics and practitioners throughout the UK.
Following our move into a larger office and warehouse in Welham Green, we are looking for a reliable and organised Part-Time Picker & Packer to join our small, friendly team.
The Role
You will be responsible for accurately picking, checking and packing online orders, preparing parcels for delivery and keeping the warehouse organised.
This is a varied, hands-on role that also involves receiving stock deliveries, assisting with stock takes and preparing orders for customers collecting from our premises.
Main Responsibilities
- Picking products accurately for customer orders
- Checking products, quantities, batch details and expiry dates
- Packing orders securely and to a high presentation standard
- Labelling and preparing parcels for courier collection
- Ensuring next-day delivery orders meet dispatch deadlines
- Checking completed orders carefully to minimise errors
- Receiving and checking incoming stock deliveries
- Reporting damaged, missing or incorrect stock
- Organising and rotating stock according to expiry dates
- Keeping warehouse shelves and packing areas organised
- Assisting with regular stock counts and full stock takes
- Updating orders and stock information on the company’s systems
- Preparing orders for same-day customer collection
- Greeting customers and handling collections professionally
- Monitoring packaging supplies
- Keeping the warehouse and shared areas clean and tidy
- Supporting the team with other reasonable duties when required
About You
We are looking for someone who:

- Is comfortable working independently and within a small team
- Has a professional and friendly manner
- Has basic computer and IT skills
- Can follow order-processing and stock-control procedures
- Is comfortable receiving deliveries and handling boxes of stock
- Takes pride in maintaining a clean and organised workplace
Previous warehouse, picking and packing, ecommerce, beauty or cosmetics experience would be beneficial but is not essential, as full training will be provided.
Working Hours and Attendance
The role will involve fixed, agreed working days and hours between Monday and Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm.
Reliable attendance is essential because we operate with a small team and the role directly affects customer orders, collections and delivery deadlines.
Requests to change working hours or attend non-emergency appointments during working time must be made as far in advance as reasonably possible and will be considered according to the operational needs of the business.
