Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Labourer to join our team, supporting various construction and maintenance projects. Mainle trenching activities on solar farm, new build homes , general Groundworks. Own transport. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, reliable, and eager to contribute to a dynamic working environment. All positions are paid, including internships, ensuring fair remuneration for your efforts.
Responsibilities
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment on-site
- Prepare work areas by clearing debris and setting up necessary tools and safety barriers
- Support skilled tradespeople with basic tasks such as mixing materials or holding equipment
- Transport materials around the site using appropriate manual handling techniques
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations
- Follow instructions from supervisors to complete assigned tasks efficiently and safely
- Assist in the installation, repair, or maintenance activities as directed
Experience
- Previous experience in manual labour or construction is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Good physical fitness with the ability to perform strenuous tasks over extended periods
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Basic understanding of health and safety practices within a construction environment is desirable
- Willingness to learn new skills and undertake varied responsibilities on-site
