The Forest School is a highly successful, friendly and dynamic 11-16 School, committed to achieving high standards and to developing the potential of all our students and staff. The school has over 1100 students on roll with all 5 years now co-education. Summer 2025 has seen our best Mathematics results for a number of years with 84% of our students achieving a grade 4 or above and 28% achieving a grade 7 or above. A key department in the school, the Mathematics department is central to the school’s vision of success. This is evident in the recent refurbishment of 7 classrooms rooms as well as further redevelopment throughout the school. We are seeking to appoint an exceptional practitioner to join our highly successful Mathematics team.

What You Need to Succeed
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following;
- Qualified Teacher Status
- the ability to motivate students and achieve excellent results
- excellent organisational and ICT skills
- very good subject knowledge including Further Mathematics
- the capacity to work collaboratively and lead people
- a passion for maths and the ability to inspire and share this with young people
- a commitment to developing in the role through proactive engagement with CPD and own learning
