As a General Business Account Executive at Tipalti, you will own our NetSuite segment across the UK and Europe. This is a newly created, dedicated seat: rather than covering a broad, undefined market, you will have 100% ownership of NetSuite accounts, roughly 1,400 companies in a clearly defined ICP and full responsibility for both the inbound leads and the outbound prospecting into that segment.
To empower your success, we heavily invest in our sales organisation, providing you with a state-of-the-art technology stack. Leveraging tools such as Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, 6sense, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Gong, and Clari, you will engage prospects effectively.
Tipalti is one of the world's fastest-growing fintech companies. We free finance professionals to lead by modernising the entire payables operation. We are a well-funded, late-stage scale-up backed by high-profile investors. Our 2021 Series F funding round raised $270 million, valuing us at over $8.3 billion. With total funding of just over $550 million and more than 4,000 global customers, Tipalti is one of the most valuable private fintech companies in the world — and on track for profitability.
At Tipalti, we pride ourselves on our collaborative culture, the quality of our product and the capabilities of our people. Tipalti offers competitive benefits, a flexible workplace, career coaching, and an environment where diverse individuals can thrive and make an impact. - Own the full sales cycle for NetSuite General Business accounts in the UK and Europe — from prospecting through to close
- Take 100% ownership of the NetSuite segment, managing both inbound marketing-generated leads and self-sourced outbound opportunities
- Consistently achieve quota to ensure territory revenue and growth objectives are met
- Build genuine credibility with finance and operations leaders by understanding how NetSuite works, where it stops, and how Tipalti extends it
- Partner with Sales Engineers during discovery and demo to validate technical fit — coming in with enough NetSuite fluency to handle the fundamentals yourself
- Work closely with our onboarding and product teams to ensure the deals you close are the right ones: strong product fit, realistic expectations, and customers who go on to use and retain the platform
- Independently develop a territory strategy and sales plan, using ROI tools to ensure consistent achievement of goals over the short and long term
- Take additional round-robin opportunities from the wider team alongside your NetSuite ownership, keeping your pipeline healthy
You'll report into the AE team lead and work day to day with Sales Engineers, the inbound routing and go-to-market team, onboarding, product, and marketing. This is a low-politics, high-ownership environment where cross-functional collaboration is the norm rather than the exception.
2–3+ years of closing experience as an Account Executive, ideally having progressed from an SDR or BDR seat into a closing role. We're not looking for a junior hire, and we're not looking for someone so far along that the habits are set — this is a role for someone with proven closing results who is still genuinely coachable.
- Fintech experience. This segment sits squarely in financial operations and payments, and the ramp is too steep without domain knowledge of the space.
- A track record of closing. Real, owned, closed deals — not just pipeline generated. Consistent quota attainment.
- A hunter's background. Progression from SDR/BDR into AE, and comfort self-sourcing pipeline rather than waiting on inbound.
- Core sales tool proficiency: Salesforce, Outreach, Clari, Gong, or equivalents.
- Independent thinking alongside AI. We want people who use AI tools well without outsourcing their judgement to them.
- Prior experience at NetSuite or within the NetSuite partner ecosystem — you'd arrive already understanding the product, its positioning, and its customer base
- Experience selling into digital-economy verticals: marketing, advertising, gaming, and similar
- Experience selling to the 50–500 employee mid-market segment, and familiarity with its buying dynamics and cycle length
- UK and European market familiarity
- Open, inclusive, and supportive culture
- Work on products used by some of the world's fastest-growing companies
- Equity in a late-stage scale-up
- Breakfast and lunch provided three days a week (Mon, Tue, Thu)
- Private medical and dental cover
- £100/month mobile allowance + £26/month internet allowance
- Daily breakfast and snacks in the office
- ✈️ 25 days holiday + bank holidays
