New Graduate Veterinary Surgeon – Swindon
VetsKlinic is a vibrant, innovative and proudly independent veterinary practice in Swindon. Due to continued growth and expansion, we are looking for an New Graduate Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly and supportive team.
We have a busy and varied caseload across both medicine and surgery, providing an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon looking to develop their clinical skills within a well-supported environment.
Our team currently consists of 10 Veterinary Surgeons and 25 Nurses, including 11 RVNs. Each Veterinary Surgeon works alongside their own dedicated support nurse throughout the day, ensuring you always have an extra pair of hands for patient restraint, preparing medication and supporting you with your daily caseload.

The Role
- Full-time position
- 40-hour contract over 4 days, with 36 hours worked
- Weekend rota of 1 in 4 Saturdays, 9am–2pm
- No sole charge
- No on-call or out-of-hours work
- Busy and varied medical and surgical caseload
- Dedicated nursing support for every Veterinary Surgeon
- Scope for additional overtime if desired
- Late shifts officially run until 8pm, but the practice closes at 7pm, meaning the team almost always finishes early rather than late
